As director of special projects for the Gabo Foundation, he directs and coordinates the Gabo Festival, the largest gathering of storytellers in Latin America, and the Gabo Prize, an award that annually recognises the best journalistic stories published in Spanish and Portuguese. He also oversees programmes related to García Márquez's cultural legacy, such as the Gabo centenary (to be celebrated in 2027), as well as the Floodlight project, which seeks to expand the boundaries of journalistic investigations into film and video games.
