Arslan Athar is a writer and publisher based out of Lahore, Pakistan. Their fiction and essay work revolves around themes of identity, home and power. Previously, they have been a South Asia Speaks Fiction Fellow (2021), where they were mentored by Pakistani author, Fatima Bhutto. Arslan founded Run ; On Press through which he founded "The Desi Collective"; a fiction magazine for South Asia. Run ; On Press also published Arslan's debut novel, Forty Days of Mourning - set in Hyderabad Deccan of 1947.
