Clemency BURTON-HILL

burton-hill-clemency Clemency Burton-Hill graduated from Cambridge with a double First in English. She is a contributing editor at the Spectator and has written for the Observer, Guardian, Independent, Daily Telegraph, New Statesman, Economist, TLS, Vogue and Elle. A frequent contributor to current affairs programmes including Question Time, Newsnight, Andrew Marr, Sky News, LBC Radio and Five Live, Clemency is also a regular presenter on The Culture Show, BBC Proms, Visionaries and other arts documentaries.

As an actress Clemency has appeared in numerous films and television dramas including Party Animals, The Palace, Hustle, Midsomer Murders and Poirot. She held a violin scholarship at the Royal College of Music and has performed all over the world, most recently joining Daniel Barenboim and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra on their 10th Anniversary tour. Clemency’s first novel The Other Side of the Stars was published in 2009 by Headline Review and her next will appear in 2011.
