Gilraen Eärfalas was born in Chilpancingo, Guerrero. She is a clinical laboratory technician, general practitioner, and writer. Her literary career began in 2012 with a blog for which she wrote letters and short stories, and in 2016 she launched a YouTube channel to share poems in video format. Two years later, she self-published Desfibrilador (2018), her first book, in which she combined her two passions: medicine and poetry. In addition to her self-published works, Gilraen is the author of successful novels on Wattpad.
