Pol GUASCH

Pol Guasch (Tarragona, 1997) is the author of Napalm in the Heart (2021 Llibres Anagrama Novel Prize), which was named one of the best books of 2024 by The New Yorker; Ariane Singer of Le Monde described it as “Electrifying… A singular voice, sweet and explosive at the same time, fresh yet mature: a joyful explosion”; and of En las manos, el paraíso quema: “A beautiful story set against a grim backdrop, somewhere between Sarah Kane and Vivian Gornick. A wonderful book that brings the hope of friendship to the end of the world” (Alana S. Portero). He has written the poetry collections Tanta gana (2018 Francesc Garriga Prize) and La part del foc (2021 López-Picó Prize, translated into Spanish). His work has been translated into thirteen languages. His latest book is Reliquia.
