She studied Literature and holds a Master's degree in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Management. She also graduated from the Master's course in Cultural Management at the University of Piura. She has worked at the University of San Martín de Porres Press and collaborated with Planeta and Penguin Random House in Peru. She has also worked as an editor and proofreader for independent publishers such as Estación La Cultura and Paracaídas Editores, among others. She took part organizing the cultural programme for the 2015 Trujillo International Book Fair and taught writing at the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú. She currently serves as the Cultural Director of the Peruvian Book Chamber.
