Gustavo Puerta Leisse (Caracas, 1975) is an editor at Ediciones Modernas El Embudo and, together with illustrator Elena Odriozola, is the author of Sentimientos encontrados and Lecciones de cosas. He was the editor of the children's cultural journalism magazine ¡La Leche! (2016–2020) and founder of the Peripatetic School of Children's and Young Adult Literature (2005–2020). He has worked as a university lecturer and literary critic.
