Born in Nuevo León in 1982 and now based in Queretaro, this writer, reading advocate and storyteller focuses her work on connecting with one’s roots and ancestral wisdom. She has self-published five books: the children’s story Quetzel, la guardiana del bosque; the poetry collections Abuela sabiduría, Colibrí and Cambio de piel; the prose work Mujer Serpiente; and the magic realist short story collection De Magia, llanto y espanto; as well as contributing to nine anthologies. Her work has led her to showcase her writing at the FIL Guadalajara, the FILIJ and RAIAL events, as well as at various international virtual book fairs. As a storyteller, she visits schools to promote writing as a form of therapy, a cultural and social initiative that has been widely covered by various media outlets.
