Founded in 2019, the Huimilpan Community Orchestra is one of the community music education projects supported by the Querétaro State Ministry of Culture, which promote the artistic, personal and social development of children and young people through orchestral practice. Under the direction of Mar DomÃnguez, the orchestra is based at the Joel Osorio Orlando Telesecundaria School, where it serves children and teenagers from the community of Lagunillas, Huimilpan and the surrounding area, establishing itself as a space for socialising, learning and musical training. Since its inception, the Huimilpan Community Orchestra has contributed to the cultural enrichment of the municipality, demonstrating that music is a powerful means of fostering talent, social cohesion and the holistic development of the younger generations.
