Founded in 2019, the Colón Community Orchestra is one of the community music education projects supported by the Querétaro State Ministry of Culture, which promote the artistic, personal and social development of children and young people through orchestral practice. Under the direction of Maestro Jorge Valencia, the orchestra is based at the Colón Municipal Cultural Centre, where it has established a training programme based on perseverance, discipline and a love of music, enabling its members to discover and develop their potential within an environment of collaboration and growth.
