Luis Felipe Rodríguez Cruz (Felippe Cruz) is a writer, storyteller, teacher and workshop leader with over 14 years’ experience in literary promotion and cultural production. Since 2023, he has served as Coordinator of the UNAM Morelia Cultural Centre. Throughout his distinguished career, he has collaborated on projects to promote reading and cultural dissemination for national and international organisations such as the UNDP, CONACULTA, the Federal Ministry of Culture, the SEP, the UNAM and the INE. He has also appeared at various book fairs and festivals in countries including Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Guatemala. In the public sector, he was Head of Outreach at the SEP —where he contributed to the Tripulantes de la lectura digital library— and was part of Libros UNAM from 2020 to 2022. In the field of event management, he worked as General Coordinator at the International Children’s and Young People’s Book Fair (FILIJ) between 2016 and 2019, where he led workshops, exhibitions and prestigious competitions such as the International Illustrated Book Award and the Illustrators’ Catalogue. He also coordinated the Oral Storytellers section of the children’s programme Alas y Raíces.
