David Antonio Silva Rojas (Ica, Peru) is a writer, a lawyer specialising in criminal and constitutional law, and an academic researcher. He won the 1st Almadía Ventosa-Arrufat International Novella Prize for his work Donde el agua trabaja, and received an Honourable Mention in the 29th Julio Ramón Ribeyro Novella Competition organised by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru for his novel La limpieza (2026). From an early age, he lived in Toyohashi, Japan, where he studied and won first prize in the Novo Mundo literary competition with his short story in Portuguese, O rastro da canela.
