Senior Economist in the Socio-Economic Research Department, Knowledge Division, at
CAF – the development bank for Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a PhD in
Economics from the Centre for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI) in Spain. His
research interests focus on the areas of political economy, state capacities and
economic development.
