Katerina Valdivia Bruch is an independent curator and researcher based in Berlin. She holds a PhD from the University of Reading, School of Art; a Master’s degree in Museum Studies and Critical Theory from the Programme of Independent Studies at MACBA/Autonomous University of Barcelona; and a diploma in Cultural Management and Policy from Barcelona University. She has curated exhibitions, organised talks and symposia, and collaborated with numerous international institutions. She is an associate lecturer at the Institute for Art Sciences and Aesthetics at the Berlin University of the Arts. She is the editor of the volume Repensar el conceptualismo: vanguardia, activismo y política en el arte latinoamericano (1960s-1980s) (2025). She directs the research platform dedicated to Latin American art, Rethinking Conceptualism: Avant-Garde, Activism and Politics in Latin American Art (1960s–1980s).
