Nilo TABRIZY

is an Iran Correspondent for Reuters where she covers Iran using open-source investigative methods. Previously, she worked as a Visual Forensics Reporter for The Washington Post and a video journalist at the New York Times, covering Iran, race and policing, and abortion access. Her first book, For the Sun After Long Nights: The Story of Iran’s Women-Led Uprising, was Longlisted for the National Book Award for Nonfiction, and was a finalist for the Orwell Prize in Political Writing. Nilo is a winner of an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Coverage, the Front Page Award for Online Investigative Reporting, and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award, and a finalist for the 2025 Anthony Shadid Award for Journalism Ethics.
