(United Kingdom, 1958) Geoff Dyer’s many books include But Beautiful, Out of Sheer Rage, Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi and the essay collection Otherwise Known as the Human Condition (winner of a National Book Critics Circle Award for criticism). His books have been translated into twenty-four languages. His latest book is The Last Days of Roger Federer. He is a Writer in Residence at USC, Los Angeles.
