(Argentina,1977) Educated in Granada, he lectured in Hispanoamerican literature there.Aged 22 he published his first novel, Bariloche,shortlisted for the Herralde Prize and chosen as one of the 10 best books ofthe year by El Cultural. His laternovels have been La vida en las ventanas,Una vez Argentina and Traveller of the Century, which won theAlfaguara Prize and the Premio de la Crítica Award, was translated into 10languages and voted as one of the 5 best novels of the year by El País and El Mundo. His latest book of poems No sé por qué y Patio de locos was published in 2013. He wasincluded in Bogotá39 as one of the most outstanding young Latin Americanauthors. He was later chosen by the British magazine Granta as one of the Best Young Fiction Writers in the SpanishLanguage.
