Carolina Andújar was born in Cali, Colombia. She specialized in Jungian psychological analysis through dream interpretation. Fantasy is always present in her literary work, in which oneiric and magical phenomena stand out. Andújar has written three Gothic novels:
Vampyr (Norma, 2009),
Vajda, Príncipe Inmortal (Norma, 2012), and
Pie de Bruja (Penguin Random House - Montena, 2014). She is also the author of
La Princesa y el Mago Sombrío (Norma, 2013), a Gothic fairy tale for children. She has lived in Colombia, Indonesia, Italy and the United States, and she has traveled extensively, which to her remains a great source of inspiration. Andújar has written most of her books in the Colombian mountains, where she hopes to keep weaving stories that will make her readers fall in love.
