Luis GARCÍA MONTERO

garcia-montero-luis (Granada, 1958) Poet and Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Granada, author of eleven books of poetry and several books of essays. He received the Adonais Award in 1982 for El jardín extranjero, the Loewe Award in 1993 and the National Literature Prize in 1994 for Habitaciones separadas. In 2003, with La intimidad de la serpiente he received the National Critics’ Award. No me cuentes tu vida, Alguien dice tu nombre and Las palabras rotas are his latest novels.
