Juanes is a Colombian musician and composer, born and raised in Medellín. With more than 20 million albums sold, Juanes is a multi-awarded artist and he is applauded by the masses all over the five continents. He has received 4 Grammys and 27 Latin Grammys, which makes him the most Latin Grammy-winning Colombian artist in history. Juanes has been praised by the Time magazine as “One of the 100 most influential people in the world” and as “Latin American’s hottest singer-songwriter… a soulful poet with electric guitar” by The New York Times. In 2006 Juanes created the Fundación Mi Sangre to promote a culture of peace through music and culture among children and young people from the most affected by violence areas in Colombia. In 2019 he was named “Person of the Year” by the Latin Recording Academy.
