Gypsy Hill is a collaboration between DJ Kobayashi and Herbert Newbert – an authentic Balkan, Gypsy, Swing, Mediterranean act with a touch of electronic beats, scratching and uplifting bass lines.
DJ Kobayashi is a regular DJ on the Gypsy scene around London, in productions such as Stranger than Paradise, Balkan Beats London Dimba Presents and is fresh off the back of supporting the legendary Balkan Beat Box in Rome.
Herbert Newbert is a producer/DJ and founder of world music act Native Horizon which mixes flamenco, folk, African and Arabic influences into a melting pot of groovy beats.
