Max HASTINGS

hastings-max Max Hastings spent most of his early career reporting for newspapers and BBC TV from far-flung places, including eleven war-zones, of which the most notable were Vietnam and the 1982 Falklands conflict. In 1986 he became editor of the Daily Telegraph and after almost a decade moved to edit the Evening Standard until 2002. He is the author of more than twenty books of which the most recent are ARMAGEDDON, NEMESIS and FINEST YEARS. He has won many awards both as reporter and historian including the RUSI’s Westminster Medal for his lifelong contribution to military literature.
