Heather Brooke is a freelance journalist and Freedom of Information campaigner. She writes for all the main national papers, has presented Channel 4's Dispatches and is also a regular on Newsnight. She is the heroine of the MPs’ expenses scandal, having campaigned for five years to have them revealed.
Heather is a visiting professor at City University's Department of Journalism and is also the author of Your Right to Know.
In 2009 she was named ‘Reformer of the Year’ and won the ‘Setting the Political Agenda Award’ from the Political Studies Association.
