Sian BUSBY

Sian Busby is an award-winning author of three critically-acclaimed books challenging the assumption that we are more tolerant today of mental illness than were previous generations. Her latest work, McNaughten, is a novelised treatment of the story of Daniel McNaughten, prosecuted in 1843 for the murder of the Prime Minister's private secretary. Described by The Times as "rich, clever and absorbing", its historically accurate depiction of terrorists and spies lurking in the long shadow of an unpopular Parliament has chilling resonances with today.
