Jesús RAMÍREZ-BERMÚDEZ

Jesús Ramírez-Bermúdez works as a clinician, researcher and lecturer at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery Manuel Velasco Suárez in Mexico. He holds a PhD in Science from the UNAM and is a member of the National Network of Researchers. He has published over 120 scientific articles in the field of clinical neuroscience. He is the author of the books Breve diccionario clínico del alma (Penguin-Random House, 2010), Un diccionario sin palabras (Almadia, 2016), Depresión: la noche más oscura (Penguin-Random House, 2020) and Melancolía Creativa (Penguin-Random House, 2022), which explore the boundaries between literary creation and scientific non-fiction. He was awarded the National Prize for Literary Non-fiction by the Mexican Institute of Fine Arts.
