Sonia Faleiro is a multi-award-winning journalist and writer of narrative non-fiction. Her latest book, The Good Girls: An Ordinary Killing (2021), was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature’s Ondaatje Prize and the ALCS Gold Dagger Award for non-fiction. It was selected as a recommended read by The New York Times and by the Human Rights Watch book club. She writes for The New York Times, Harper’s, MIT Technology Review, Granta, 1843 and The Times Literary Supplement. She is co-founder of the Deca journalism cooperative and founder of the South Asia Speaks literary mentoring programme. She is a Royal Society Literary Fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London.
