(Buenos Aires, 1977) Studied Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and is the author of the novels Savage Theories, Dark Constellations and Mona (Random House), translated into nine languages. She wrote the libretto for the opera Hércules en el Mato Grosso, performed at the Colón Theatre’s Centre for Experimentation in 2014 and in New York in 2015. She was chosen as one of the Best Spanish-language Fiction writers by Granta magazine in 2010 and has received literature scholarships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Iowa International Writers Program, among others. Her articles on politics and culture have appeared in The New York Times, the BBC and the Folha de Sao Paulo, and she writes columns for the daily La Nación. She is the winner of the 2020 Eccles & Hay Festival Literature Award for her project entitled Atlas literario del Amazonas.
