(Mexico, 1952) A Doctor in Hispanic Language and Literature from UNAM’s Faculty of Philosophy and the Humanities. He is a writer and lecturer and presenter of the radio programme Voces interiores, broadcast by Radio Educación, as well as the television programme La dichosa palabra. He has been awarded the José Revueltas Literary Essay Prize (1976) and the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz International Bicentenary Literature Prize (2009) for his poetry book Grandes maniobras en miniatura.
