Diego Rabasa is a publisher, documentary filmmaker and film and television producer. As a publisher, he was on the editorial board of Sexto Piso for 20 years, a period during which the press published more than 600 titles. As a documentary filmmaker, he has received Emmy and Ariel Award nominations, and won the International Documentary Association Award for his film Ciudad herida, co-directed with Santiago Arau. His documentaries on forced disappearance, child migration, and the prison system for adolescents and children in Mexico have been screened at film festivals in Mexico, the United States, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland. He currently heads the Development Department of the production company Perro Azul. His debut as a screenwriter and show runner was with the television series El colapso (Vix, 2023), sharing credits with Julián de Tavira.
