Gustavo COBO BORDA

cobo-borda-gustavo (Colombia) Poet and journalist Gustavo Cobo Borda has become one of the most outstanding voices in modern Colombian literature. His poetry has been translated to English, French, German and Greek and his published anthologies include Consejos para sobrevivir (1974), Salón de té (1979), Historia portátil de la poesía colombiana (1984), and Lengua Erótica (2009). He has served as assistant manager of the National Library of Colombia, cultural secretary for Colombia, cultural consultant for the Colombian embassy in Argentina and Spain and Colombian Ambassador in Greece. He is also a member of the Colombian Academy of the Language.
