Gustavo Rodríguez is a writer and communicator. He has published novels such as La furia de Aquiles, La risa de tu madre (finalist for the Herralde Prize), La semana tiene siete mujeres (finalist for the Planeta-Casa de América Prize) and Cocinero en su tinta. He is also the author of the short story collection Trece mentiras cortas and co-author of Ampay Perú and Ampay Mujer. The book Traducciones peruanas (Peruvian Translations) brings together ten years of his articles published in the Lima newspaper El Comercio. He has also collaborated with the prestigious magazine Etiqueta Negra since its beginnings. He has received countless awards for his creativity in advertising in Peru and abroad, and several of his campaigns have mobilised his country. He has recently published the novels Madrugada (2018) and Treinta kilómetros a la medianoche (2022). He is the author of the podcast Machista con hijas and is currently editor of the opinion portal Jugo de Caigua.
