(Lima, 1968) Writer and communicator. He has published novels such as La furia de Aquiles, La semana tiene siete mujeres, Te escribí mañana, Madrugada, Treinta kilómetros a la medianoche and Cien cuyes (Alfaguara Novel Award 2023). He is the author of the volume of short stories Trece mentiras cortas, of the Juan Chichones children’s trilogy that is read in schools in his country, as well as co-author of Ampay Perú and Ampay Mujer, books that seek to contradict certain myths that exist in Peruvian society. The book Traducciones peruanas is a collection of ten years of his articles from El Comercio newspaper. He is the author of the Machista con hijas podcast, which has been a success in Latin America, and is currently the editor of the opinion website Jugo de Caigua.
