Javier MORO

moro-javier (Madrid, 1955) Spanish novelist, journalist and scriptwriter. Co-producer and scriptwriter of the films Valentina and Crónica del alba, both based on the works by Ramón J. Sender. Author of Senderos de libertad (1992), El pie de Jaipur (1995), Las montañas de Buda (1997) and La mundialización de la pobreza (1999). He has also published Pasión india (2005), based on the life of a Spanish dancer who married the Maharajah of Kapurthala, El sari rojo (2008), the real story of a European woman trapped in the intrigues of the Nehru-Gandhi family; award-winning El imperio eres tú (2011), and A flor de piel (Seix Barral, 2015). His latest book is Nos quieren muertos (They Want Us Dead), a story about Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo López.
