(Colombia) Juanita Leon is the director of Silla Vacia, she studied Law at the Universidad de los Andes and received a M.A from Columbia University in New York. After working for the Wall Street Journal Americas in New York she returned to Colombia where she was appointed editor-in-chief at El Tiempo. She was one of the first journalists to expose the links between a number of Colombian politicians and paramilitary groups. She then moved to Semana magazine and helped create the daily edition of Semana.com. She is the author of No somos machos pero somos muchos, 5 crónicas de resistencia civil and País de Plomo, crónicas de guerra.
