(Tampico, 1971) Writer, scriptwriter and film critic. He is a member ofthe Sección de Autores y Adaptadores de Cine de México and has given workshopsin screenplay writing in Mexico and at UCLA, as well as the Masterclass inDirecting for the Mexican Directors’ Trade Union. A contributor to Etiqueta Negra (Peru) and La Nave (Mexico), he has won prizes andobtained fellowships from the CIGCITE, the Instituto Tamaulipeco para laCultura y las Artes and the Oaxaca Centro de las Artes. A few years ago, heopened a bakery in his native city, where, when he is not baking exquisiteloaves, he writes adventure novels with a certain literary slant. Londres después de medianoche, publishedby Océano throughout Latin America is his first novel and it is now beingtranslated into French, German, and Dutch and is due to be published in Spain.
