(Peru) This writer, poet and journalist is one of the new voices of Latin American fiction. She studied Linguistics and Literature at the Universidad Católica in Lima, and did her Master’s in Historical Culture and Communications in Barcelona. She writes for the cultural and Sunday supplements of the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio. She has published the books Sexografías (2008), Nueve lunas (2009), Mozart, la iguana con priapismo y otras historias (2012), Kit de supervivencia para el fin del mundo (2012) and Ejercicios para el endurecimiento del espíritu (2014). A correspondent for the magazine Etiqueta Negra in Madrid, she has contributed to media such as El País, Corriere della Sera, Clarín and El Mercurio as well as a number of international magazines. She has been living in Spain since 2003 and currently works in Madrid as writer-in-chief at the magazine Marie Claire. Her reports have appeared in the anthologies Mejor que ficción. Crónicas ejemplares (2012) and Antología de la crónica latinoamericana actual (2012), among others. Her latest book is Llamada perdida (2015), a collection of her autobiographical writings.
