Juan BONILLA

Juan Bonilla has lived in Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, London and Seville. Although his bibliography is extensive, he claims that in reality he has only written one book of poems —divided into three volumes—, one of essays —divided into four volumes— and one of short stories —divided into five volumes—, including El Estadio de Mármol (2005). He has also written the novels Yo soy, yo eres, yo es (1995), Nadie conoce a nadie (1996), adapted for the cinema by director Mateo Gil, El príncipe nubio (2003), which won him the Seix Barral Biblioteca Breve Prize, and Prohibido entrar sin pantalones, a novel that won the first Mario Vargas Llosa Biennial Novel Prize in 2014. He works as an editor for Zut magazine.
