(Spain) A graduate in Spanish Language from the Facultyof Philosophy and Arts at the University of Zaragoza, where he took a doctoratein 18th-century Spanish Literature. Together with Encarnación Molina, in 1999 he founded Páginas de Espuma, an independent publishing house that has become one of the foremost companies publishing short stories in Spanish. The publishing house has an important collection of essays, literary criticism, memoirs, diaries, travel writing and epistolary books to its name. Since 2008 the press has had offices in Mexico and Argentina. As well as working with different media, Casamayor currently gives classes at Madrid’s Autonomous University and that city’s Writer’s School.
