(Spain) Jessica Aliaga Lavrijsen es profesora en el Centro Universitario de la Defensa (Zaragoza). Se graduó en Filología Inglesa por la Universidad de Zaragoza en 2003 y completó su formación en el Programa de Doctorado Estudios Textuales y Culturales en Lengua Inglesa. En junio de 2010 completó su doctorado con la tesis titulada The Redefinition of Scottish Identity and the Relation Self-Other(s) in the Fiction of Brian McCabe (publicada por Peter Lang en 2012). Sus publicaciones más recientes incluyen El otro McCoy (2012), Trauma and Silence in Brian McCabe’s “Say Something”, incluido en Between the Urge to Know and the Need to Deny: Trauma and Ethics in Contemporary British and American Literature, y Between Remembering and Forgetting: Time Distortions in Personal and Collective Trauma in Hiroshima Mon Amour.
