His first post as a journalist was at The Miami Herald and he later worked at newspapers such as The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and The Boston Globe. He has been editing The Washington Post since the 31st of December, 2012. Since he arrived at the Post, the paper has uncovered issues such as the Secret Service and the National Security Agency scandals. A number of Pulitzer Prize-winning articles have been written under his charge. Last October, The New York Times paid tribute to his work at the head of the newspaper, which is currently the property of Jeff Bezos.
