Of Colombian parents (his mother is from Cali and his father from Manizales), Sergio de la Pava is the US author of the works A Naked Singularity (winner of the 2013 Pen/Robert W. Bingham award for Best First Novel and shortlisted for the British Folio Prize in 2014) and Personae. He is currently working on his third novel.
