(Lima, 1975) Writer and journalist. In 2007 he published the short story collection Punto de fuga. Several of his stories have been included in anthologies such as Estática doméstica: tres generaciones de cuentistas peruanos (Mexico, UNAM, 2005), Nuevo cuento latinoamericano (Marenostrum, Madrid) and in Spanish magazines such as Quimera and The Barcelona Review. In 2013, Mondadori released his first novel, Contarlo todo, which is set to be translated into French, Italian and Portuguese. The novel’s success led Alfaguara to release an international edition of Punto de fuga in 2014. He has lectured at Peruvian universities such as PUCP and the UPC and written columns for the magazines Caras, Somos (part of the El Comercio newspaper) and Asia Sur. He is currently a columnist for El Comercio.
