(1964, Berlin) German writer of children’s books, theatre plays and poetry. After studying screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin, Pfeiffer went on to work as an stage director in Berlin and Zurich. It was at this time that he began to write his first plays - initially for adults, although later becoming mainly for children. He worked for some time for German television, before leaving TV to begin his career as a children’s book author, writing titles such as “Kira and Buttermilk”, “The Adventure Academy”, and, together with Andre Marx, “The Wild Pack”. In addition, he is the author of more than 30 volumes of the cult series “Die Dreii?? Kids”, and the youth novels “Baby in the Belly” and “One Night Stand” about young people growing up in Berlin. In recent years, he has become a celebrated ‘reader’ in Germany, performing more than 50 readings each year for children and adults.

His latest books are the Berlin-set thrillers for children “Invisible and still there!”,the latest of which was published in 2013.
