José Manuel Acevedo is a political scientist and lawyer from the University of Los Andes, with a master's degree in Economic Analysis of Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2020, he was part of the group of Latin Americans chosen to participate in Georgetown University's global competitiveness programme. He was part of the RCN RADIO working group for more than 10 years, and since 2021 he has been director of Noticias RCN on television. He is also a weekly columnist for the newspaper El Tiempo, where he also publishes interviews with ‘Los 40 de menos de 40’ (The 40 under 40). In 2022, he received recognition from the jury at the Simón Bolívar Awards in the Best Interview category.
