Mercé Company is a prolific writer. Between 1982 and 1992 she published 170 books. She also writes for a public audience. Her books have been translated to 17 different languages. She received Generalitat Award and is part of the list of Honour of Andersen awards. She is the screenwriter of the TV series Nana Bunilda.
