Muhsin Al-Ramli was born in Iraq in 1967. He is a writer, poet, translator, Hispanist and academic. He writes both in Arabic and Spanish. He has lived in Spain since 1995. He received a degree in Philology from the University of Bagdag in 1989. He has a Doctorate in Arts and Spanish Philology. He has been professor at St. Luis Univesity in Madrid since 2004. He is the author of Dedos de dátiles Dates on My Fingers (2013) and Dormida entre soldados (2011).
