JOAN TARRIDA began working in the publishing world at the age of 19. She was literary director of Edicions del Mall, director of publications for he Barcelona '92 Olympics, Editorial Director of Plaza & Janes and Ballantine Books, and CEO of Ballantine Books. In late 2010 she bought Galaxia Gutenberg, of which she is director and publisher.
