(Arequipa, 1980) Teaches Peruvian Literature and runs creative writing workshops at the La Salle University of Arequipa. Since 2012 he has been writing stories for the prestigious Peruvian magazine Hildebrandt en los trece. He has published eight books of short fiction, including Mi familia y otras miserias (Tribal, 2013), Inmunidad de rebaño (Aletheya, 2021) and El niño de La Arboleda (Pesopluma, 2021). He represented Arequipa at the 2021 Guadalajara International Book Fair, where Peru was the featured guest country. Oswaldo Reynoso, one of the most important Peruvian writers, has described him as an “amazing and authentic storyteller.”
