Maurizio Medo was born in 1965. He has directed projects such as the creation space Transtierros, for a decade, and the critical dissemination project País Imaginario: Escrituras y transtextos, a study in three volumes. He has also published various books of poetry such as Manicomio (first edition, Santiago de Chile, La calabaza del diablo, 2005; second edition: Lima, Editorial Zignos, 2007; third edition, Monterrey, La regia cartonera, 2013; fourth edition, Guadalajara, Mantis, 2012; fourth edition, Madrid, Varasek. Buccaneers collection, 2015); Cuando el destino dejó de ser víspera (poesía reunida 2005-2015) (Caceres, Ediciones Liliputienses, 2016); Y un tren lento apareció por la curva (Madrid, Ay del seis, 2016) and Las interferencias (Madrid, Ay del seis, 2019). His work has appeared in anthologies such as Pulir Huesos. 23 Latin American poets, 1950-1965 (Madrid, Círculo de Lectores, Galaxia Gutenberg, 2007) edited by Eduardo Milan; Festivas formas.
