He studied literature at the Javeriana University. He completed an MA in Comparative Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a specialization in screenwriting at the Writers Workshop in the same city. Editor of El Peregrino Ediciones. He is the author of novels
Nada importa (Herralde Prize finalist 1998) and
Final de las noches felices. His last novel is
Que venga la gorda muerte (Planeta 2015).
