Anuradha ROY

roy-anuradha ANURADHA ROY is an Indian writer, journalist and publisher, and is considered one of the most promising voices in Asian literature. Her first novel, Atlas of an Impossible Longing, achieved international success and was translated, into Spanish, among other languages. Her novel The Folded Earth has also been translated into Spanish. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature 2016 for Sleeping on Jupiter, and the Shobha Savitri Chandra Memorial Prize, awarded by the Congress of History of India in 2015 for Cultural Communism in Bengal 1936- 1952.
